The Chief Operating Officer of CDE is Michael D. Miner of Jackson, Tennessee. He served 24 years in the US Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He is a disabled veteran. He is an expert on quantitative analysis, statistics, decisionmaking, and strategic planning. He recently retired from the U. S. Customs and Border Protection Agency as Director of enterprise Reporting and Data Systems. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Boston University. His undergraduate degree (general engineering with a concentration in Mathematics and Economics) was obtained from the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY. He also serves as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics for American Military University/American PublicUniversity. He established and operates a real estate development company in Jackson, Tennessee that builds quality, affordable, energy-efficient, and accessible homes for aging adults and Americans with disabilities.
